Trendy Tuesday

Today is election day, everyone is encouraged to go vote!

Remember, the men and women serving overseas are fighting to protect our freedom and the ability to vote is one of the many gifts we get living in the United States of America...

The women of politics have not only help shape our nation, but have also inspired the fashion of their eras.

The late Jackie O (Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy Onassis)  is a prime example of the First Lady becoming a fashion icon during her husband's presidency.  Ms. Kennedy's clean suits, sleeveless A-line dresses, over sized sunglasses and famous pillbox hats were an overnight global phenomena and became known as the "Jackie" look.

The First Lady, Michelle Obama, is a present day fashion icon and considered a trend setter in the fashion world. Her fashion choices are featured in fashion publications and popular periodicals. The world is focusing more on what and who she is wearing, then what she is accomplishing being the First Lady.

The First Ladies of our nation realized fashion is a part of freedom and self expression, and without voting none of it would be possible! Go cast your votes, the change for our country is in your hands!
